About this card
About The Big One in B&W.
The flame is a loose tangle of ink lines on a short, dark wick. Below the candle sit a checkerboard tier, a tier of bubbles and a wide bottom tier with the frosting hanging over its edge in waves. Get close to that bottom tier and there’s fine diagonal hatching between the stripes.
For a birthday nobody is allowed to play down. The Big One is a separate drawing of the same idea, in colored pencil and ink.
