Katty draws every morning. Mostly flowers, sometimes a cake, occasionally a window. Most of the drawings stayed in notebooks on the kitchen table — filed by date, sometimes annotated with the name of the recipient they were meant for, often never given at all.
For years her son Evan, who knew nothing about drawing but a little about the internet, kept telling her to turn them into cards. So did her friends. In 2026 she finally said yes.
The Holiday Collection is the newest collection, alongside The Celebration Collection: cards printed on thick, bright-white paper, each paired with a silver shimmer envelope.
How a card gets made.
Each card starts in pencil and ink, drawn in the morning. Katty draws the same subject several times before one of them ends up on a card. The chosen drawing is scanned and minimally cleaned up; the ink wobbles and the small mis-strokes are left alone. From there the file goes to print.
