About Candle Lift in B&W.
Three tiers are in place, the widest in big polka dots, the next ringed with hexagons. The fourth, checkered and with its candles already standing, hangs from the jib on a flat pallet, right over the spot where it goes. At the short end of the jib, a block of counterweight keeps the whole job level.
Pencil and ink, down to the cross-bracing on the tower. An engineer’s birthday card, or one for the day the last beam goes up.
